During the COVID-19 pandemic, home gardening became a connecting media of communicate with nature.
People are healing themselves of the depression that was prolonged due to the sudden COVID-19. The restriction of movement and continued indoor life made me crave nature more, and at that moment, gardening became a node to commune with nature. The small plant made me feel the wind of the garden and the scent of flowers. Also, touching the soil, putting all my heart on a small flower, and absorbing the sunlight into my skin means that I am healing myself completely.
사람들은 갑작스러운 COVID-19로 인해 길어지는 우울함을 스스로 치유하고 있다. 이동의 제약과 지속된 실내생활은 더욱 자연을 갈망하게 하였고, 그 순간 가드닝은 나에게 자연과 교감할 수 있는 유일한 교점이 되었다. 작은 반려식물은 정원의 바람을 불어주었고 꽃내음을 선물하였다. 소소하게 흙을 만지고 말없는 식물 하나에 온 정성을 기울이며 햇볕을 피부로 흡수한다는 것은 나를 온전히 치유한다는 것을 의미한다.
