FASHION DESIGN
Inspired by Sol LeWitt's works and based on Gerard Genette's paratext theory, I try to design my own work through the third party's participation, the processing, on Sol LeWitt's works.
Sol LeWitt, who was on the borderline between conceptual art and minimalism, formed the boundary between minimalism and conceptual art by using simple lines, planes, and shapes. Inspired by Sol LeWitt's works and based on Gerard Genette's paratext theory, I try to design my own work through the third party's participation, the processing, on Sol LeWitt's works. Recently, the concept of paratext has become more important in contemporary art. It means the value of blurred originality, and as looking at the art, the relationship progresses to mutually interaction beyond the one-sided one. Fashion has a subject, the wearer. Such discourse can be applied at the point that the form is changed with the wearer's movement. Thus, the changes according to the wearer's movement are intended to be captured through pleating techniques.
개념미술과 미니멀 아트 경계에 있는 솔르윗을 단편적인 선과 면, 도형을 활용해 미니멀 아트와 개념미술의 경계를 형성했다. 본 연구자는 이에서 영감을 받음과 동시에 제라드 주네트의 파라텍스트 이론에 기인하여, 본 솔르윗의 작품에 제 3자의 참여, 즉 가공을 더해 본 연구자만의 작품을 제작하고자 한다. 최근 동시대 예술에서 파라텍스트의 개념이 중요해진 것은 흐릿해진 원본성에 대한 가치와 미술을 바라보는 것이 일방적 관계를 넘어 상호 교류적인 관계로 진행해 나간다는 점이다. 패션 디자인은 착용자라는 대상이 있고, 착용자의 움직임에 따라 형태가 변한다는 점에서 이러한 담론을 적용할 수 있는 다수의 지점이 있다고 판단 하였고, 주름 가공을 통해 이러한 착용자의 움직임에 따른 변화를 포착하고자 하였다.
将位于概念艺术与极简艺术边界的索尔维运用线和面,图形,形成了极简艺术与概念艺术的边界. 本研究受此启发的同时,参考了杰拉德·朱内特的帕拉文本理论, 参与本·索尔维作品的第3方作品, 即试图添加加工环节制造出研究家独有的作品. 最近帕拉文理论概念受到关注的原因在于,观看已模糊的原始性的价值和艺术超越了单纯的关系,以相互交流关系进行发展. 时尚设计有佩戴者的使用者, 并会根据佩戴者的动作而改变的这一点来看,我认为可以适用于该理论, 所以通过褶皱加工试图捕捉了根绝佩戴者动作发生的变化.
