마진주는 영국 왕립예술대학에서 패션 프랙티스 기반 문화 연구를 수행해 박사 학위를 수여받았습니다. 현재 패션이노베이션앤컬처랩(FIC)을 통해 다양한 질적 연구방법론을 적용한 패션 디자인, 사회문화학, 미학, 지속가능성, 교수법에 관한 논문을 SSCI, A&HCI 저널에 게재하며 연구 프로젝트들을 수행하고 있습니다.
